Research Experience

Kabeer has worked with the Collective since 2014, initially as a Research Assistant. He also has experience working with the World Bank in Pakistan as an Urban Development Consultant. Kabeer completed his MSc. in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, for which he was awarded the Chevening Scholarship. His dissertation examined the politics of public sector reform, investigating how pockets of effectiveness are created.

Research Interests

Political economy of development, governance and service delivery, industrial policy and structural transformation, electoral politics, state effectiveness.
