Funded by the International Growth Center, this project aims to assess climate vulnerabilities in Sindh Province, focusing on floods, droughts, heatwaves, and saltwater intrusion. It will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining data collection, analysis, surveys, remote sensing, and stakeholder consultations. The project will analyze secondary climate data to observe trends and patterns. Surveys and consultations will gather information on socio-economic impacts and adaptive practices. The findings will inform policy recommendations for enhancing resilience. Project outcomes will be disseminated through publications, briefs, and workshops to raise public awareness. The 6-month project will deliver evidence-based recommendations for policy decisions, aiming to mitigate climate hazards and improve resilience in Sindh Province.
